Our Doors Are Open
Since 1964, David Bruce Winery has welcomed neighbors near and far for milestone events, curated tastings, and to share in the legacy of revolutionized American winemaking. Our estate is tucked into the forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains, surrounded by the glory of ancient redwoods, and just thirty minutes from the Pacific. Whether you’re dropping by for lunch with friends or planning your next big event, you’re welcome to come and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and award-winning wine—our doors are open.
Reservations are highly recommended, although we welcome walk-ins on a first come, first served basis.
Outside food is not allowed in the tasting room or on the patio during tasting room hours. However, we invite our guests to enjoy their own snacks before or after tastings at our picnic area.

Wine Tasting
Discover the exceptional beauty of our vineyard patio, nestled among towering redwoods with panoramic views of our estate. Here, the natural splendor of the Santa Cruz Mountains creates an ideal setting for your wine exploration journey.
Our seated tastings offer you the opportunity to experience an array of wines across expertly curated flights, each accompanied by a knowledgeable staff member to guide you through the experience. As you sample each carefully selected wine, you’ll gain insight into our winemaking philosophy and the unique characteristics that define each varietal.
Available Thursday-Sunday, 11 am – 4 pm (last reservation at 3 pm). Parties of 1-6 may book online. Please note that reservations are preferred, but not required for wine tasting. Please allow an hour to fully enjoy the tasting experience

Picnic at the Winery
Reserve one of our four covered picnic tables for a complimentary, two-hour use with a purchase of 2 bottles of wine. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, or purchase a custom cheese and charcuterie board in the Tasting Room.
Cellar and Vineyard Tours
Discover the craftsmanship behind our wines on a David Bruce Cellar & Vineyard Tour. Experience our comprehensive winery journey with a reserved table tasting that takes you through every aspect of our operation. You’ll learn the rich history of the winery while walking through our estate vineyard, explore the renowned David Bruce Cellar, and gain an intimate understanding of our complete winemaking process from vineyard to cellar.

Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are not required, but tastings are offered on a first-come basis and there may be a short wait during busy periods.
What is the dog policy?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please keep them leashed and by your side at all times.
